When you are breaking down a hog, trimming silverskin from a beef roast, or working a boning knife around joints and cartilage, your hands are inches from the blade at every step, and NoCry Cut Resistant Gloves are built specifically for that kind of close, repetitive knife work. Constructed from a high-performance blend of polyethylene fiberglass fiber, they carry an EN388 Level 5 cut resistance rating, meaning they can withstand slips and glancing contact from boning knives, cleavers, and meat saws that would otherwise slice through ordinary kitchen gloves. Home butchers processing whole animals, breaking down primal cuts, or portioning fish and poultry rely on this level of protection because meat work involves slick, wet surfaces where a knife can slip unexpectedly, and these gloves give you a real margin of safety without dulling your sense of control over the blade.
The fit of the NoCry glove is engineered for the tactile precision that meat processing demands, with a snug, seamless knit that hugs the hand and fingers so you can still feel the texture of the meat, grip small connective tissue, and manipulate a boning or fillet knife with the same dexterity you would have bare-handed. The gloves are ambidextrous, sold in pairs, and offered in multiple sizes from extra small to extra large, so hobbyist butchers, hunters processing game, and home charcuterie makers can find a fit that stays snug at the wrist without bunching in the palm. An adjustable wrist strap with a hook and loop closure keeps the glove secure during vigorous cutting motions, preventing the material from sliding down and exposing skin while you work through tendons, fat caps, and bone.
Beyond knife safety, these gloves are practical for the full range of home meat processing tasks, including handling mandolines for slicing cured meats, operating meat grinders, working with box cutters when breaking down packaging for bulk cuts, and even protecting hands while sharpening blades on a whetstone or honing steel. The material is machine washable and holds up to repeated exposure to raw meat, fat, and moisture without losing its protective structure, making it a durable addition to a home butchery station rather than a single-use item. For anyone processing their own meat at home, whether breaking down a deer after a hunt, portioning a whole chicken, or running a small-batch sausage operation, NoCry Cut Resistant Gloves offer a dependable layer of hand protection that fits the realities of working with sharp tools around bone, cartilage, and slippery cuts of meat.
NoCry Cut Resistant Gloves are a solid, budget-friendly choice for home butchers who need reliable protection while boning, trimming, or breaking down meat. While they aren't waterproof or puncture-proof, their Level 5 cut resistance and comfortable fit make them a trustworthy everyday tool for safer home meat processing.

Had to size up from what I normally wear. Once I got the right size, these have been great for breaking down whole chickens and trimming beef.
I do a lot of venison processing after hunting season and these gloves are now part of my standard kit. Cut resistance is impressive.
They work fine for cut protection but blood does seep through after extended use. Still, better than no protection at all.
Used these while breaking down a whole hog and they held up perfectly. Comfortable enough to wear for hours without hand fatigue.
